抄録
1. The extraction rate, K', i.e. the rate of the decrease of the extractable nitrogen in the successive supernatants, is, smaller in the case of brain, and larger in the case of intestinal mucosa, than that expected from the following equation:
K'=1/(1+ρ).
2. The smallness of the extraction rate of brain can be ascribed to the effect of insoluble substance, and the excess, in the case of intestinal mucosa, to the extractability of the proteins.
3. Results of electrophoretic studies of the physiological saline extract of brain and intestinal mucosa are presented.
