Abstract
We report the observation of a Snow Bunting Plectrophenax nivalis on top of Mt. Jirogyu (1,929 meters above sea level) in the Tsurugi Mountains, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture on 5 May 2010. This is the first record of the species from Shikoku Island.
