Abstract
This study describes a design of adaptive control system using self-tuning regulator method. It shows that adaptive control is realisable only with a personal computer (that is software control). In order to shorten the sampling time, the number of estimate parameters must be reduce. This study used ARMA model for identification. ARMA model has the lowest number of unknown parameters.
