Abstract
There are not so many researches for Teaching Listening as a foreign language from the point of effective Listening, while many are for other three abilities promotion like Speaking, Reading and Writing. This study starts clearing the reasons why Listening is difficult to teach among the four skills. The writer of this thesis analyses the students' errors from the phonemes and words level. At the final stage the author tries to get the relation between what we call "top down" and "bottom top" ability in Listening. Two hypotheses concerning finding errors in Listening can be proved in this thesis.
