Abstract

By changing cut off position, forging rate, test temperature of the test piece, instrumented Charpy impact test of the 7N01 aluminum alloy was done. (1) The crack propagation energy decreases, when the forging rate is raised, and the caurse originates from the decrease in the maximum displacement. (2) The crack propagation energy rises with the temperature rise, and it is dependent on the maximum displacement.
