The authors moderated the organized sessions on active learning at National Kosen Forum in 2017 and 2018. We had guest speakers who are practicing active learning, exchanged information in a world cafe style, and conducted a survey at the end of each session. From the results of these sessions, the authors discovered that teachers who have little or no experience of active learning need practical examples and that teachers who have some practice need evaluation and verification method. At the present moment, kosen (technical college) teachers are required to concentrate efforts to develop active learning skills.
