Abstract
Many attempts to “TOEIC®” test have been made since it was introduced into the National Institute of Technology, Kisarazu College. An ideal score the students mark depends on the aims and the goals of their future, but we still do not establish effective ways of leading them to our basic level of over 400 points. Providing objective and useful data, current status and issues of TOEIC test at Kisarazu College will be discussed in this paper. In addition, I will propose a strategy for improving the motivation of students’ self-learning for TOEIC test.
