In this study, we examine the lesson content of a kendo class using tools in physical education at a school. We further report on a kendo class practice that uses a simple trial manufacturing tool, although only four such classes were held. Through this practical teaching at an elementary school, there was an improvement in the use of tools in kendo lessons and devices in lesson content, and the interest of the children was aroused. This left the impression that there was a possibility that such a lesson could become a unit to teach skills to other people.
However, problems remain regarding the durability of the tools and the safety of the activity, and these aspects need to be studied in more detail.
