A method of instantaneous determination of multielements in unknown samples by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry is described.Samples are used as solution in nitric acid media for the homogeneity of them, the elimination of influence by their shape, and the decrease of interelements effects.A multiple linear regression analysis technique has been studied calculated equations correlating X-ray fluorescent intensities with composition of samples. The technique has been applied to a variety of materials containing components with a range from chromium to zinc in the periodic table.Off-line computer system has made automatically estimation of elements, choice of relative α-coefficients obtained in standards, solution of simultaneous equations, and printing of results calculated.Application of proposed method to some copper alloys produced differences of 1% from conventional wet chemistry values.
