Baryon Resonances and Meson Production Reactions

Abstract

Recent precise and systematic data of the photon and electron induced reactions opened an opportunity of new structure studies of the baryon excited states. Extraction of resonance parameters of the light-quark baryon resonances from a systematic analysis of the meson production reactions are reported. Importance of the reaction dynamics on the properties of the excited baryon states is emphasized and possible future developments of the resonance analysis are discussed.
