Abstract
We discuss that the Higgs boson discovery in 2012 is an important step to explore new physics beyond the standard model for particles physics. After the short review of the standard Higgs sector, we discuss the relation between Higgs physics and the new physics models for the hierarchy problem, baryon asymmetry of the universe, dark matter and tiny neutrino masses. We then explain that the Higgs physics is a good probe of new physics beyond the standard model.
