Abstract
Ventricular fibrillation is a serious arrythms, which leads to a sudden death. It is important to understand the mechanism of the ventricular fibrillation and develop an effective method of the defibrillation. The ventricular fibrillation is interpreted as a spiral chaos in the ventricle. We investigate the spiral chaos in the Aliev-Panfilov equation, and propose a few methods of defibrillation from a viewpoint of nonlinear physics.
