看護職における職務満足感と職業継続意志に関する研究

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and intention of keep working, and find out such factors as have influences upon intention of keep working. The participants in this study were 329 nurses in 4 general hospitals who have worked for 1 to 5 years. They were asked to fill out a questionnaire about the reasons for job selection, job satisfaction and intention of keep working. The reasons for job selection and job satisfaction were factor-analyzed. "Self-actualization" and "economic-stabilization" were extracted from the reasons for job selection. Six factors were extracted from job satisfaction; "nursing-oriented", "professional autonomy", "management system", "relationship with doctors", "relationship with nurses" and "work environment" . The main results were as follows: (1) Self-actualization had a significant effect on four factors of job satisfaction but not on professional autonomy and relationship with nurses by means of multiple regression analysis. (2) Intention of keep working was distinguished from nursing-oriented of job satisfaction by means of discriminant analysis. The results of this study suggested career guidance in high school was important for nurses.
