Abstract
A lot of soil pollution sites with hazardous chemicals such as Pb or Cr(IV) are found in Japan. In this study, the distribution of the soil pollution concentration in the vicinity of the factories that emitted Pb into the atmosphere was measured, and estimated by the METI-LIS model. The atmospheric deposition of Pb was considered as one of the soil pollution causes. The soil pollution requirements by the deposition of a variety of chemicals were considered as well.
