Abstract
This paper studies on the significance for tourism of Kiritoshi from analyze 17 travelogues of early modern Kamakura. Therefore, we extracted 11 Kiritoshi, seven of which were famous resource of “Kamakura nana Kuchi”. Moreover, Kiritoshi were analyzed by 4 classifications from their ; their landscape descriptions, and 3 tourism values(history, boundary and approach)from tourists recognition. As results, tourism values of approach were common of all Kiritoshi, and history were confirmed in central Kamakura mainly, and then boundary was characterized with their narrowness and steepness by edges, such as in Asahina-Kiritoshi and Nagoe-Kiritoshi.
