Abstract
In order to clarify recognition of climate change countermeasures and a carbon-free society, we conducted a questionnaire survey targeting university students in Japan, and analyzed 661 responses. The following findings were obtained: 1. Most respondents imagined daily personal actions as countermeasures, and they considered that the countermeasures were inconvenient and forced patience. 2. Those who thought that the countermeasures increased the quality of life tended to image a positive impact on the global environment and air. Those who considered that the countermeasures decreased the quality of life tended to image a negative effect on their own life. 3) The degree of support for policies and the practice of energy conservation measures are related not only to the degree of comprehension of the information related to climate change, but also to the positiveness of recognizing the influence of creating a carbon-free society.
