Abstract
Michi-no-Eki is expected as a space to promote regional revitalization. Meanwhile, some stations were closed because management became difficult. This research was targeted of Michi-no-Eki in the Kinki area. As a result, there are pointed out issue of aging facilities and maintenance. It was shown that Michi-no-Eki in which decrease of users and the revitalization of the area are problematic tend to be located in areas with long registration period and low population. The PDCA for sustainable management does not seem to circulate sufficiently. The expected effect of Michi-no-Eki is to activate exchanges with other communities and people.
