The Awareness of the Food and Agriculture Experience Program for Primary School Students in Urban Agriculture Park in Chongqing, China

Abstract

The urban residents are looking for rural tourist areas where people can interact with the natural and agriculture, with China’s rapid economic development. Urban agriculture park is an essential rural tourist area, which is expected to provide chances for children to join in food and agriculture experience. In this study, we conducted a survey of park manager and primary students who take part in the food and agriculture program in urban agriculture park to investigate the situation of the food and agriculture experience. As a result, the problem of shortage of the food and agriculture experience is alleviated in urban agriculture park.
