Abstract

In this study, we analyzed the relationship between interest towards agriculture and crops and consumers’ intention to participate in CSA. A total of 212 questionnaires were collected from Wakabadai district of Tottori City. The main finding are as follows: (1) It became clear that 35.3% of respondents indicated to participate in CSA.: (2) The consumer group showing a wide range of interest in agriculture and crops has a higher intention to participate in CSA compared to the “low interest group” and “indifferent group” who have low interest overall.: (3) It was thought that showing detail the role of played in regional agriculture by CSA would lead to the acquisition of subscribers as a strategies for dissemination.
