Abstract
In this study, in order to consider the strength and the shrinkage properties of high-strength concrete with fly ash and silica fume, compressive strength tests, autogeneous shrinkage tests and drying shrinkage tests were conducted. The water-cementitious materials ratio of the high-strength concrete was 25%, the fly ash-cementitious materials ratios were 0%, 10%, 20% and 30%, and the silica fume-cementitious materials ratios were 0%, 5% and 10%. The total number of mix proportions was 12. The compressive strength decreased with the increasing of fly ash replacement ratio. The 14-day and the 28-day compressive strength of the high-strength concrete with silica fume were larger than that without silica fume. When the fly ash replacement ratio was 30%, the effect of silica fume on the compressive strength became small. The autogeneous shrinkage of the case in which fly ash and silica fume were mixed became small. The increasing of the fly ash replacement ratio and the mixing of fly ash were effective to reduce the autogeneous shrinkage. The drying shrinkage became large by the mixing of fly ash.
