Abstract

In this study, in order to clarify the influence of the characteristic of powders, Air-entraining and High-range water reducing agent(SP)on the fluidity of the cement paste containing Carbon-free Fly Ash(CfFA), the flow test was done by using a paste with different particle size distribution, replacement of CfFA and dosage of SP. In addition, it was examined an evaluation index of the cement paste containing CfFA. The results are as follows. In case of using SP, the flow value of cement paste which replacement ratio of FA(FA/P)is 40% was higher than that of 20%, regardless the adsorbing quantity of carbon in SP by CfFA was approximately 60% of the cement. In the case of non-SP, the flow value of the paste containing CfFA was able to evaluate by the excess water film theory except the very fine CfFA of JIS class Ⅰ. On the other hand, in case of using SP, the relation of the flow value and the excess water ratio(δw/d)was different each quantity of SP and CfFA or type of CfFA. The improvement effect of fluidity by powders dispersion to CfFA of JIS class I was higher than that of other coarse powders.
