Abstract

In this study, repair method for RC bridge decks deteriorated due to ASR and fatigue under deicing salt was investigated. First of all, specimen supposing full-size RC road bridge deck was prepared and ASR accelerated curing was conducted. Then the wheel load trucking test was carried out until fatigue limit. After repairing using latex modified rapid hardening concrete(LMC), the fatigue resistance was evaluated by wheel load trucking test. Results shows that equivalent number of cycles of specimen repaired using LMC were 178 times as compared to the un-repaired specimen. It is likely that high tensile and bond strengths of LMC improved fatigue resistance of RC deck.
