Abstract
The total length of shoots, the total number of leaves and the total fresh weight of shoots of one plant in the next year of transplanting were more in the plant having larger number of shoots than that having smaller one. But as to the mean length of shoots, the mean fresh weight of shoots and the weight of the heaviest shoot of one plant, a reverse relation to the above fact was observed.
The decrease of content of TAC in the woody roots of one plant from Apr. to Aug. was more in the plant having smaller number of shoots. And the accumulation of TAC in the woody roots from Aug. to Nov. was less in that plant in the year of transplantation.
