Abstract
The analysis of the promoting factors of the atherosclerosis are very difficult as they are chronic changes of the arterial wall by aging spontaneously. At the present time, the development of atherosclerosis in experimental animals may be greatly speeded up by cholesterol feeding, depressing thyroid function, feeding diets low in sulfur amino-acids, producing pyridoxin deficiency (monkey), choline deficiency (rats), and by intravenous infusions of renal hypertension in animals augments the development of atherosclerosis. We are going to report in basic field about the promoting factors to develop coronary sclerosis by animal experiments and the results of the histological and histochemical studies, and in clinical field about the changes of the coronary hemodynamics in coronary sclerosis in human and dogs.
