Abstract
The purpose of this study is to clarify the purpose and methods of attracting satellite offices by local governments in order to create a flow of people from urban areas, as interest in flexible work styles has increased due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. The research method involves conducting a questionnaire survey on the status of efforts by local governments to attract satellite offices in their areas, and organizing the results. The results of the survey revealed that local governments are interested in attracting medium-sized companies and companies located in urban areas, and that information service companies are the type of companies they are interested in attracting.
