Abstract
It is thought that actual motor possibilities affect grasping behavior (Ambrosini & Costantini, 2017). This study investigated whether grasping object affects the understanding of the action of tilting object. Participants were presented with a display of pictures of the tilted objects and animation of hand action. Participants judged whether the animation was grasping action for the tilted objects. Participants were asked to judge if animation of grasping action were appropriate to the picture of tilted objects and divided into two groups: judged with grasping same objects on the display and without grasping anything. Results showed that the incorrect response of the participants judged with grasping was lower than the participants judged without grasping.
