Development of Materials, Manufacturing Methods, and a Quality Control System for Innovative Carbon Negative Concrete ─Progress in 2023─ ─CUCO : Carbon Utilized COncrete─

Abstract

The Green Innovation Fund was established by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) for the development of technologies to achieve the ambitious goal of realizing a carbon-neutral society by 2050. One of the Fund’s projects is an initiative called “Development of Technology for Producing Concrete and Cement Using CO₂” involving three companies that the authors are affiliated with as leading organizations. This paper introduces the current status of development of various technologies under this project.
