Abstract
The mechanical properties of the concrete made with an inorganic admixture which has been recently developed are reported in this note.
When the admixture is used with super water reducing agent, it makes possible to get the high strength concrete -about 800 kgf/cm2 at one day, over 1000 kgf/cm2 compressive strength at 28 days-by steam curing at normal pressure, and the elastic portion and the ultimate strain of the concrete tend to increase.
Further test in reinforced concrete indicate that the behaviors of cracking and deflection can be improved, and moreover the behavior of failure is discussed.
