Abstract
This paper is intended to report the seismic testing of RC full-scale building on U. S.-Japan cooperative research program. The building designed in accordance with both U.S. and Japan codes was tested by means of newly developed Pseudo-dynamic' Drocess. This is different from static loading test, characterized by applying load to the building so that the displacement obtained from response analysis based on test data may be attained. Testing results were summarized in terms of lateral-resistance capacity and deformation capacity of the building as well as time history of response displacements for testing and preliminary analysis.
