Abstract
The Kurume Kannon is a mossine special concrete construction, 62 meters high. Our most important matter was that this concrete construction is valued as the Merciful Goddes after completion. Therefore, we considered the most important point is how to prevent structural defects such as cracks or coldjoints which are liable to exist in a concrete construction. In order to satisfy this condition, we used superplasticized concrete, made with portland blast furnace cement and performed concrete works under the close quality control through the construction.
