Abstract
Actual structures are subjected to variable repeated loading, of which magnitude and rate change at random. None the less, fatigue strength and fatigue life of concrete are generally obtained under constant repeated loading fatigue tests. Therefore, the characteristic strength of concrete and the resistant design shear force in fatigue for the limit state design method should have sufficient security under the constant repeated loading and also should be one on which the security is reflected under variable repeated loading. In this paper, the method of calculating these values are explained.
