Abstract
In this technical report, it is carried out the field investigation and the repair method for cracking damages in the public school building constructed by reinforced concrete. Because the students are not absolutely injuried by the peel off and falling of concrete broken piece. Tottori University was entrusted investigation from the school administration, to servey the cause of cracking damage, and to establish the urgent and proper repair method. From the results of investigation, it was decided the cause of cracking damage was due to alkali-aggregate reaction. This report is consisted of two parts, that is, the first half is the investigation to make clear cause of cracking damage and to examine the repair method during 1990 to 1991, and the second half is an outline of repair work being carriedout at 1991.
