Research on indicators based on the actual condition of the vacanct floor for commercial and business use at central area in province city.

-Case study on Utsunomiya city-

Abstract

This paper aims to clarify the actual condition and the problem of the vacant floor for commercial and business use in the central area of Utsunomiya city, where transformation of commercial environment occurs recently, and to consider and evaluate about each used indicator of vacancy. As a background, after surveying a present situation in central city of Utsunomiya, we analyze about feature and tendency of vacant floor, for example, the number of stories, size and use. Using some indicators about vacancy, we grasped and considered about the situation and problem for each street. Finally, we propose the trial calculation about the city rate of vacancy.
