Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a device to measure turning behaviour during walking. Experiments are then conducted in a scenic park. The aim is to comprehensively notate the recognition of grasping landscape in the park. First, an helmet type experimental device that was developed by combining a microcontroller board with a GPS module, a geomagnetic sensor and a card reader. The experiment was then conducted in Nakanoshima Park in Osaka City using 10 subjects. As a result, it was possible to notate the head rotation during walking.
