Abstract
In this study, I conducted interviews with event organizers and conducted a questionnaire survey of participants and vendors in order to clarify their awareness of monthly shopping street events, as well as the benefits and issues involved. The results showed that those who have participated in the event multiple times are highly motivated to participate again, and that the event has become a regular part of their daily lives. The survey also revealed that one advantage of the event was that visitors were able to meet stall holders, and stall holders were able to meet other stall holders and people in the shopping arcade, creating a place where they could meet many other people.
