Introduction of chiral groups to one-dimensional inorganic polymer and control of their nanostructures

Abstract

We prepared the polysilsesquioxanes containing chiral groups by introduction of (R)-(+)- and (S)-(-)-1-phenylethyl isocyanates to the water-soluble ladder-like polysilsesquioxane containing amino groups. In addition, we investigated the conformation and nanostructure of the resulting polymers.
