Abstract

The karyotype of Lacerta vivipara (Jacq.) from four different popultations in Bulgaria has been studied. The diploid chromosome number in the female is 2n=32A+Z₁Z₂W and in the male 2n=32A+Z₁Z₁Z₂Z₂.
