DNS (Daido Network System) was developed for the purpose of easier maintenance, higher accuracy of data transmission and lower communication cost. The system development was started in 1981 to operate SIS (Sales Information System).
Since 1985, the increase in communication by telephone, facsimile and via digital data for computer necessitated more transmission capacity. In this background, we applied the high speed digital communication network to DNS. We realized the following items in;
(1) Multi-media network service (toll dial network)
(2) Online communication between our computer and our client's computer terminal equipments
(3) Online real-time communication between different kinds of computer
(4) Integration of computers
