In recent years, there is great technical progress in electric arc furnaces for steelmaking. Steelmakers are looking for further improvements in their equipments and production technology.
This paper discusses the productivity and specific power consumption using the electric heating model. The model shows ways to get more excellent productivity and specific power consumption.
