We have hold a consecutive survey data and its serial radiogram of about 300 children one every year among 10 year duration.
While in the examination, we came across the development of a odontogenic cyst on the left upper canine one of the children and were fortunate enough traced its behaviour. Her intra-oral radiogram taken at 6 years and 2 months as well as 7 years and 2 months reveiled no abnormaly, but those of 8 years and 2 months showed a fairly clear state of expansion crypt around crown of 3.
Since that time, this cystic behaviour are not accompanied any searious condition. After its recognizing, the cystic development has kept simillar large of finger-tip size among the duration of 8 years and half.
Its excision was done under surgical way at 16 years and 11 months of age. This cyst has contained some scattered radiopaque spots, but its appearances are not violency in histologically and clinically.
Clinical finding of this cystic condition was a calcifying odontogenic cyst.
