Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the educational effects on participants of a board game class conducted in person and online over a 3-month period, based on pre- and post-surveys and parental observations of The Trading Game conducted after the class. The results of a comparison of pre- and post- scores on the Divergent Association Task, which measures divergent thinking, showed a tendency for scores to increase after participation in the board game class.
