Abstract
This presentation investigates information regarding the repair and maintenance of arcade game machines based
on literature materials. Based on this investigated information, the objective is to clarify how much of a methodology for
preserving the culture centered around arcade game machines can be explored within the scope of literature materials. The
presentation analyzed articles on arcade game. Analysis of these materials revealed that they primarily contained basic
information for maintenance and information centered on general-purpose video game consoles. However, it was also evident
that collecting information on other individual devices was difficult, necessitating the separate acquisition of techniques for
accumulating such information.
