Abstract
The effect of wavelength-control lenses on visual reaction time to on-screen visual stimuli was
investigated. Ten healthy participants were examined using the ColorDx® CCT-HD™ system (KONAN
MEDICAL) under two conditions: refractive correction lenses and wavelength-control lenses. Visual reaction
time was measured for two optotype sizes. No significant difference was observed between the two conditions
for the logMAR 1.2 optotype (equivalent to a decimal visual acuity of 0.06). In contrast, for the logMAR 0.4
optotype (equivalent to a decimal visual acuity of 0.4), visual reaction time was significantly shorter under
the wavelength-control lens condition. These findings suggest that wavelength control may enhance the
efficiency of visual information processing for on-screen stimuli, indicating potential applications for
improving visual input in digital environments and gaming scenarios.
