Abstract

By playing VR games from a subjective point of view, it is possible to give a more realistic experience by improving the sense of presence and immersion. We thought that it would be possible to create a delicate effect at the boundary of the visual field by considering individual differences in the visual field. Therefore, in this research, we have developed a method for measuring the visual field range of a player wearing an HMD. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to quantify the individual difference in the visual field. In the future, we aim to support the design of visual effects that take into account individual differences in visual field.
