Abstract
In recent years, video games have been gaining attention in cybersecurity education as a method that easily captures users' interest.While various video games with security have been designed, to the best of the author's knowledge, there has been no systematic survey of these video games from the perspective of elements. In this paper, we conduct a systematic survey from the perspective of elements of video games with cybersecurity for industrial purposes, academic purposes, and entertainment purposes.We confirmed that the trends in commonly adopted themes significantly differ between video games created for industrial and academic purposes and those created for entertainment purposes.
