Abstract
The outline of the documentation activity of Investigation Section as a technical information center of Victor Co. of Japan, Ltd. is reported and the present state of the document storage and retrieval in the library with the feature is also described. Further this report introduces the process of the establishment of technical documentation system standardized in every division of the company. It took about two years to build up the system thoroughly since 1961. First, the unique Victor Industrial Standards "Standard for Classification of technical documents", "Standard for writing of technical report " and others, have been planned, discussed and formulated newly by the Committee members selected from each engineering division. Next, the filing inspections of the technical documents stored in each division were made to check the state of use and practice by the Committee members.
