Abstract
Several feartures of CA File, a new bibliographic file on CAS ONLINE, which has been available in the last period of '83, the advantage of combining CA File and Registry File (Chemical Substances file) in searching, and other some updation on CAS ONLINE system in '83 are described. At fist, how to use present CAS ONLINE is shown by means of two typical examples: they are simply described combining Registry File and CA File effectively and searching CA File. Next, several informations for searching CA File are provided, i.e., items of CA File, searchable fields, proximity searching, displaying search-able terms, range searching. At last, some of other useful and important commands are simply explained, i.e., HELP. SAVE. ACTIVATE.
