The transportation sector and travel behavior have a significant role in the cities’ economic functioning and growth. Jaipur has been the economic and political centre of Rajasthan. Urbanization, increasing population and travel demand, and a surge of private vehicles necessitate studying travel behavior in Jaipur, India. The study focuses on understanding the travel behavior and to analyze the scope of public transport in commute to the workplace. Data has been collected through an online questionnaire survey having sections pertaining to demographics, residential and workplace location, availability of social and physical infrastructure, neighborhood quality, and travel diary were. In addition, data related to travel time has been collected through Google maps. The binary logistic regression has been estimated to showcase the relationship of public transport mode with significant variables.
