Review of Development Trends of Anomalous Driving Detection Technologies Providing Driving Support

Abstract

In recent years, traffic accidents caused by drivers' operation errors or intentional dangerous driving have become a serious social problem in Japan. The development of Level 4 autonomous driving technology is progressing. However, many issues still need to be resolved. Thus, it needs to continue promoting preventive safety technology to prevent accidents. In this study, we clarify the development trends of anomalous driving detection technologies. Furthermore, based on the review results, we propose detection technology that will be helpful for traffic safety.
