Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Taiwan Kaohsiung Circular LRT and Danhai LRT on sustainable transportation development. By employing both Importance-Performance Analysis and Regression Analysis, this research compares their respective influences on urban sustainability and customer loyalty. The findings reveal notable differences, primarily due to variations in city scale, transport functions, and operational roles. Kaohsiung LRT, as an independent transit system, focuses on urban adaptation and economic benefits, contributing to regional development and efficiency. In contrast, Danhai LRT functions as a feeder system, requiring substantial improvements in connectivity, accessibility, and service integration. These results highlight the importance of tailoring transit strategies to specific urban needs. The insights gained from this study serve as valuable references for future LRT system planning and sustainable development, aiming to enhance public transportation efficiency, urban mobility, and long-term environmental benefits.
